The Full Form of GNM course is General Nursing and Midwifery. It is a 3½ years diploma in paramedics. Nursing and Midwifery focuses on the provision of care to individuals, families, and communities. The course can be pursued after successful completion of the 10+2 level of education in the science stream from a recognized educational board with a minimum aggregate score of 50%. Some institutes even require science subjects. GNM course involves the compulsory completion of this 6-month internship. This course may also be availed of on a part-time basis in certain colleges. GNM Syllabus has been designed to attain, maintain and recover optimal health and quality of life.
